A society incorporated under this Law may purchase, build, hire or take upon lease any building for conducting its business, may adapt and furnish the same and may purchase or hold upon lease any land for the purpose only of erecting thereon a building for conducting the business of the society, and may sell, exchange or let such building or any part thereof.
