A society may change its name by resolution of seventy-five per cent of the members present at a meeting called for the purpose:
Provided always, that such union or transfer of engagements shall not affect the right of any creditor of either or any society uniting or transferring its engagements.
Notice of the change of name shall be sent to the Registrar and be registered by Registrar, and the Registrar shall give a certificate of registration.
Such change of name shall not affect any right or obligation of the society, or of any member thereof, or other person concerned.
