Application of offences to business entities

Whenever a business entity is commits an offence under this Law —
the business entity shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars, and to a further fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars for every day on which the offence continues after it has been convicted of that offence; and
a director or manager of the business entity shall also commit an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars, and, in addition, to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars for every day on which the offence continues after that person has been convicted of that offence unless violation took place without the knowledge or consent of the director or manager concerned.
