Awards made on different issues

56. (1) Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the arbitral tribunal may make more than one award at different points in time during the proceedings on different aspects of the matters to be determined.
The arbitral tribunal may, in particular, make an award relating to —
an issue affecting the whole claim;
a part only of the claim, counter-claim or cross-claim, that is submitted to the tribunal for decision;
the determination as to a particular fact or set of facts; Arbitration Law, 2012 Section 57 c Law 3 of 2012 Page 33
the existence or non-existence of a particular condition or set of conditions; or
compliance or non-compliance with a particular rule, standard or quality.
If the arbitral tribunal makes an award under this section, it shall specify in its award, the issue, or claim or part of a claim, that is the subject matter of the award.
