Determination of rules

Subject to the provisions of this Law, parties may agree on the rules to be followed by the arbitral tribunal in conducting the proceedings.
If the parties fail to agree on the rules to be followed by the arbitral tribunal, the tribunal may, subject to the provisions of this Law, conduct the arbitration in such manner as it considers appropriate.
The power conferred on the arbitral tribunal under subsection (2) includes the power to determine the admissibility, relevance, materiality and weight of any evidence.
