Functions of the Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Executive Officer shall be the principal executive officer of the Authority entrusted with the day to day management and administration to the extent of the authority delegated to him by the Board.
The Chief Executive Officer shall manage civil aviation services on behalf of the Authority, subject to the directions of the Board, and to this end shall be responsible for —
the day-to-day management of airports;
financial and operational matters relating to airports;
the overall safety and security of airport operations;
developing administrative and human resources development manuals for approval by the Board; and
preparing regular financial and operational reports for the Board.
