Chief Executive Officer

The Board shall appoint a person to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, at such remuneration and on such terms and conditions as the Board may think fit.
The Chief Executive Officer shall be a full time officer and employee of the Authority, and shall render his services exclusively to the Authority.
The Chief Executive Officer shall be an ex officio member of the Board and shall be answerable to the Board for his acts and decisions.
In the Chief Executive Officer's absence or inability to fulfil his functions, the Board may appoint a senior employee of the Authority to discharge the functions of the Chief Executive Officer during the period of his absence or disability.
