Employee's immunity from civil and criminal proceedings

Subject to section 4, this section applies notwithstanding any duty of secrecy or confidentiality or other prohibition of or restriction on the disclosure of information under any enactment, rule of law, contract or practice.
An employee who makes a protected disclosure shall not be liable in any civil or criminal proceeding or to any disciplinary proceeding by reason of having made a disclosure in accordance with this Law.
