Use or possession of unjust weights or weighing machines

Any person engaged in buying, selling or using any weighing machine which is unjust, or any weight or measure other than those authorised by this Law or which is found unjust, or who has in his possession for the purposes of trade any such unjust weight, measure or weighing machine, is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction before a Magistrate, to a fine of forty dollars or to imprisonment for three months; and every such light or unjust weighing machine, weight and measure, shall, on being discovered by the Inspector, be seized, and on conviction of the person using or possessing the same shall be liable to be forfeited and destroyed.
