Compensation Assessment Tribunal

There shall be a Compensation Assessment Tribunal whose function shall be to assess and award compensation claimed as a result of the production or supply of water under this Law.
The Tribunal shall comprise —
one person qualified to practise law in the Cayman Islands;
one person with technical knowledge of the water industry; and
one member of the public.
Except for rules of procedure relating to appeals referred to in subsection (6), the establishment, tenure and other matters relating to the operation of the Tribunal shall be determined by Order made by the Cabinet.
A decision of the Tribunal may be appealed to the Grand Court on a point of law.
Awards made under this section shall be enforced as if they were awards made by the Grand Court.
The Chief Justice may make rules relating to appeals made under this section.
