Registration

If the Board is satisfied in relation to any application for registration that —
the provisions of section 6 have been complied with;
the applicant possesses the prescribed qualifications; and
the applicant is of good character and is a fit and proper person to practice veterinary surgery,
the Board shall authorise the Registrar to register the applicant in that applicant's proper category, and issue to that applicant a prescribed certificate.
Every registered veterinary practitioner is entitled to practise for gain in accordance with the terms of that practitioner's certificate.
