Duty to disclose information relating to offences and terrorist acts

A person who has any information which may be of assistance in —
preventing the commission by another person, of an act of terrorism; or
securing the arrest or prosecution of another person for an offence under this Law,
shall, as soon as reasonably possible after receiving such information, disclose the information at a police station to a constable not below the rank of inspector.
Nothing in subsection (1) requires the disclosure of any information which is protected by privilege.
No civil or criminal proceedings shall lie against any person for disclosing any information in good faith under subsection (1).
A person who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction on indictment to a fine and to imprisonment for ten years.
