The Minister charged with responsibility for Financial Services is hereby designated as the Tax Information Authority for the purposes of this Act and any scheduled Agreement, and the Authority shall exercise its functions under this Act and under any scheduled Agreement acting alone or through a person designated by the Authority to act on its behalf, and shall be deemed to act in an administrative capacity.
