A claim made under section 9 may be settled by agreement between the Roads Authority and the claimant but, in default of such agreement shall, as soon as practicable, be submitted by the Roads Authority to the Assessment Committee.
An agreed settlement of a claim may be wholly in money, wholly in kind or partly in money and kind.
