The Governor shall appoint a Registrar of Lands, who shall be responsible for administering the land registry in accordance with this Law and as many Assistant Registrars of Lands as may from time to time appear desirable.
The Registrar, without divesting himself of any of his own powers or duties may, in writing, authorise an Assistant Registrar to exercise and perform any of such powers and duties and may at any time, in writing, vary or revoke such authorisation.
