46. An employee who is not participating in the defined benefit part shall, unless exempted pursuant to section 26(2) or 26(3), become an active defined contribution plan member —
on or after 1 January, 2000;
on the first day of the month next following the date on which the employee attains the age of eighteen; or
on the date that person is first employed in Service, whichever date is latest.
