Calculation of performance component of remuneration of chief officers of ministries and portfolios

The amount of the performance-related portion of the remuneration of a chief officer of a ministry for a financial year to be paid under section 28 is to be determined by the Head of the Civil Service as part of the performance assessment process undertaken under section 31.
The amount of the performance-related portion of the remuneration of a chief officer of a portfolio for a financial year to be paid under section 28 is to be determined by the Official Member responsible for the portfolio after consultation with the Head of the Civil Service as part of the performance assessment process undertaken under section 31.
The amount of the performance-related remuneration is to be determined by reference to the extent of achievement of the chief officer's annual performance agreement for the financial year.
