Late application for renewal

18. (1) The Commission may accept an application for renewal of a vendor’s permit submitted after the deadline referred to in section 17(1), provided that it is submitted before the date of expiry of the permit. Section 19 Public Lands Act (2024 Revision) Page 12 Revised as at 31st December, 2023 c
Where the Commission receives an application submitted after the deadline referred to in section 17(1) —
the Commission shall send a notice to the applicant indicating whether or not it accepts the application for consideration; and
the Commission may impose, in addition to the permit fee, a prescribed penalty for each day after the deadline referred to in section 17(1) that passes before the application is submitted.
