Things in action represented by bearer instruments

Except as provided by any other law, a legal or equitable thing in action, other than interests in land in the Islands, is capable of being evidenced or represented by a bearer instrument such that a disposition thereof may, subject to the terms of the instrument, be effected by delivery of the instrument; but unless so provided by the terms of the instrument the disponer is not relieved of any obligation or liability thereunder.
