A direct award process shall be documented and justified based on the specific circumstances and shall be subject to the prescribed thresholds.
Approval for commencing a direct award process shall be obtained by the respective procurement committee depending on the threshold limit set for the procurement project.
Every contract awarded pursuant to a direct award process shall be reported in such form as may be prescribed.
