In this Law —
means a person who applies for a presumption of death order under section 4(1);
shall be construed in accordance with section 10;
means an individual whose existence has become uncertain;
means an order made under section 4;
means the person appointed to that office under section 4 of the Births and Deaths Registration Law (2007 Revision);
means the Registry of Births and Deaths established by section 3 of the Births and Deaths Registration Law (2007 Revision);
means the Rules of Court made under section 19 of the Grand Court Law (2015 Revision) and under section 14 of this Law;
means a man who is married to a woman and vice versa;
includes an executor, administrator or personal representative; and
means an order made under section 6.
