Sale of police property bars further claims

The sale of police property under section 89 operates as a bar to a claim by a person claiming to have been the owner of any interest in the property at the time of the sale.
Subsection (1) does not operate as a bar to an action for damages against the Commissioner by a person claiming that the property in which that person had an interest has been sold in non-compliance with section 86, 88 or 89.
