The rule against perpetuities does not apply, and the rules previously in effect shall be deemed never to have applied, to the grant or reservation of rights under a lease of property, including the grant of an option to renew a lease of the grant to a lessee of an option to acquire a reversionary interest in the property comprised in the lessee's lease.
