Definitions

In this Act —
means a document, issued to a person by the competent authority of any State, authorising the holder to travel outside that State to the extent and during the period therein provided;
means the government department responsible for services relating to the issue of passports and travel documents in accordance with this Act; and
means the public officer in charge of the administration of the passport office.
