Any person who before the Parliament or a committee intentionally gives a false answer to a question material to the subject of enquiry put to that person during the course of any examination commits an offence —
if such answer was given on oath, against section 104 of the Penal Code (2024 Revision); or
if such answer was given otherwise than on oath, against section 103 of the Penal Code (2024 Revision).
