Obstruction of authorised persons

A person who —
assaults or obstructs an authorised person acting in the performance of the authorised person's lawful functions under this Law; or
knowingly gives false or misleading information to the Council or to an authorised person acting in the performance of the authorised person's functions pursuant to this Law,
commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of five thousand dollars.
In this section "authorised person", in relation to any act, means a person duly authorised by the Council.
