Evidentiary provisions

A public record of a public agency produced from the National Archive shall have the same evidentiary value as if it were produced by the public agency from which it was obtained.
An apparently genuine document purporting to be a copy, or to state the contents, of a record in the custody of the National Archive and to be certified by the National Archivist as an accurate copy, or statement of the contents, of the record shall be admissible in any legal proceedings, in the absence of proof to the contrary, as proof of the contents of that record.
