Regulations in respect of qualifying as an attorney-at-law

Without prejudice to the generality of section 68(3), regulations made under that section may prescribe —
the qualifications required for enrolment as an attorney-at-law including requirements for any of the following —
the successful completion of a prescribed period of service under articles of clerkship; and
the attainment of prescribed academic qualifications;
the qualifications required for admission to legal education in the Islands;
the examinations to be taken for enrolment for legal education and for admission including —
the papers that are to be set;
the syllabuses to be followed;
the courses of lectures to be given by suitably qualified lecturers in any subject included in the examination;
the time and place at which an examination may be held;
the setting, correcting and marking of papers;
the conduct of the examinations; and
the fees to be paid for examinations for enrolment and admission; and
different examinations in respect of persons who —
possess different qualifications; or
have followed or are following different courses of study.
