Supervision of local broadcasting

A licensee shall retain a recording of the local programming in a viewable and accessible form for a period of twenty-eight days after its broadcast.
For the purpose of maintaining supervision of local programming, the Office may make and use recordings of those programmes or any part of them and such use shall be deemed not to infringe any intellectual property rights in that programming.
Nothing in this Act shall be construed as requiring the Office to view or listen to local programmes in advance of their being included in local programming services.
The Office may issue guidelines as to the duties of licensees under sections 55, 56 and subsection (1) of this section.
