Subject to subsection (2), upon commencement of this Act, a person who was in receipt of relief under the repealed Act shall continue to receive that relief until the expiration of the period for which the relief was granted.
Where the relief received by a person referred to in subsection (1) is permanent in nature, upon commencement of this Act, the person shall continue to receive the relief as if this Act had not come into force.
An application for relief that is determined prior to the commencement of this Act shall be continued and dealt with as if this Act had not come into force.
Where an application for relief referred to in subsection (3) is granted, the application shall be granted on the same terms and conditions that would have applied if this Act had not come into force.
An application for relief made prior to the commencement of this Act that has not been determined upon the commencement of this Act shall be continued and dealt with as if it is an application made under this Act, and this Act is to apply accordingly.
