Powers of the Appeals Tribunal

Pursuant to a hearing under section 24, the Appeals Tribunal may —
confirm, vary, amend, reverse or set aside the decision of the Director;
make a decision which the Appeals Tribunal thinks ought to have been made; or
make a further or other decision, in accordance with this Act, as the nature of the case requires.
The Appeals Tribunal, for the purposes of hearings under this Act, shall have the power to administer oaths to witnesses.
Subject to this Act, the Appeals Tribunal may determine its procedure.
