Where a question arises as to whether an employee has been unfairly dismissed, the employee may file a complaint of unfair dismissal with the Director and the complaint shall be dealt with by the Director in accordance with section 79 and otherwise in accordance with this Law.
Without limiting the effect of any rule of admissibility of evidence or fairness, the warnings referred to in section 56 are admissible before an adjudicating authority as evidence and the Director may (in exercise of his power under section 78) refer to them.
A complaint under subsection (1) must be filed within one year of the date of receipt of the letter of dismissal.
