Postal articles

No proceedings in tort lie against the Crown for anything done or omitted to be done in relation to a postal article by any person while employed as a servant or agent of the Crown, nor is any officer of the Crown subject except at the suit of the Crown, to any civil liability for the matters aforesaid.
In this section —
"postal article" includes a telegram.
A reference in this section to a postal article includes a reference to its contents.
Nothing in this section affects any provisions of the Postal Act (2025 Revision) or any regulations made thereunder in relation to the payment of compensation for loss of or damage to a postal article.
