Publication of foreign bankruptcy proceedings

Where a company incorporated under Part 2 or registered under Part 9 is made the subject of a foreign bankruptcy proceeding, notice of this fact shall be fi led with the Registrar and published in the Gazette.
The notice shall contain the prescribed particulars and shall be filed by the company ’ s liquidator or, if no liquidator has been appointed under this Act , by its directors within fourteen days of the date upon which the foreign bankruptcy proceeding commenced.
A liquidator or a director who fails to comply with this section commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of ten thousand dollars. PART 17 A – REPEALED 244 - 281.
