Delegation of powers of the Governor and Deputy Governor

The Governor may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by the Governor, delegate to the Deputy Governor any of the Governor's powers or duties under this Law, other than —
this power of delegation; and
the power to appoint persons under this Law.
The Deputy Governor may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by the Deputy Governor, delegate to a public officer any of the Deputy Governor's powers or duties under this Law, other than —
this power of delegation; and
the power to appoint persons under this Law.
