Director-General

The Director-General shall be appointed by the Cabinet, after consultation with the Board, at such remuneration and on such terms and conditions as the Cabinet may think fit.
The Director-General shall be the principal executive officer of the Authority shall be a full time officer and employee of the Authority, and shall render his services exclusively to the Authority.
The Director-General shall be an ex officio member of the Board and shall be answerable to the Board for his acts and decisions.
In the Director-General's absence or inability to fulfil his functions, the Board may appoint a senior employee of the Authority to discharge the functions of the Director-General during the period of his absence or disability.
