Duty of legal persons to identify registrable beneficial owners, etc.

A legal person that is a category of legal person under section 12(1)
,

or
shall provide to its corporate servi ces provider written confirmation of its category and the required particulars .
A legal person under section 1 2 (1)(e) shall identify —
every individual that is a beneficial owner of the legal person;
every reportable legal entity ; and
the trustees of the trust identified in accordance with section 4
or the individual identified in accordance with section 4
. ( 3 ) A legal person under section 1 2 (1)(e) shall provide in writing to its corporate services provider the current and valid required particulars of registrable beneficial owners in respect of that legal person . ( 4 ) A legal person under section 12(1)(e) shall inform its corporate services provider in writing as soon as the required particulars have been confirmed.
For the p urposes of this section, the required particulars are considered to have been confirmed if —
the individual, the reportable legal entity or legal person to whom the required particulars relate supplied or confirmed the required particulars;
anothe r person supplied or confirmed the required particulars with the consent of the individual, the reportable legal entity or legal person to whom the required particulars relate; or
the required particulars were included in a statement of initial signifi cant control delivered to the Registrar by subscribers or partners wishing to form a legal person.
