At any time after the presentation of a petition, the Court may summon before it the debtor, the debtor’s spouse, or civil partner, or any person known or suspected to have in that person’s possession any of the property of the debtor, or supposed to be indebted to the debtor, or any person whom the Court may deem capable of giving information respecting the debtor or the debtor’s property, trade, dealings or affairs, and the Court may require any such person to produce any documents in that person’s custody or power relating to the debtor, or the debtor’s property, trade, dealings or affairs; and if any person so summoned, after having been tendered a reasonable sum, refuses to produce such documents, having no lawful impediment made known to the Court at the time of its sitting and allowed by it, the Court may, by warrant, cause such person to be apprehended and brought before it for examination.
