Resisting or obstructing an investigating officer

A person who —
refuses any investigating officer access to any premises, or fails to submit to a search by a person authorised to search that person under this Act;
assaults, obstructs, hinders or delays any investigating officer in the execution of that person's duty under this Act;
fails to comply with any lawful demand, notice, order or requirement of an investigating officer in the execution of that person's duty under this Act;
omits, refuses or neglects to give to an investigating officer any information which may reasonably be required of that person and which that person is empowered to give;
fails to produce to, or conceals or attempts to conceal from, an investigating officer, any book, document, or article, in relation to which such investigating officer has reasonable grounds for suspecting that an offence under this Act has been or is being committed, or which is liable to seizure under this Act;
rescues or endeavours to rescue or causes to be rescued any thing which has been duly seized; or
destroys any thing to prevent the seizure thereof, or the securing of the thing,
commits an offence.
