Investigation Committee

17. (1) There shall continue to be established a committee of the Institute known as the Investigation Committee which shall, upon the expiration of the tenure of its members be reconstituted in accordance with this section.
The Investigation Committee shall consist of a chairperson who shall be a member of the Council and not more than seven other members appointed by the Council.
The Council shall appoint members the Council considers to have the necessary knowledge and experience to serve as the Investigation Committee.
Subject to the prior approval of the Council, the Investigation Committee shall have the power to delegate any functions that it considers necessary.
