Commencement: These Regulations come into force on the date following the expiration of six months after the date of publication of these Regulations.

sch.addedRegulation 1 provides for the citation and commencement of the Trade Marks (Customs and Border Control) Regulations, 2025.

sch.addedRegulation 2 sets out the form of notice to be given under section 61 of the Act.

sch.addedRegulation 3 specifies a fee of two hundred dollars to accompany the notice.

sch.addedRegulation 4 requires furnishing a copy of the certificate of registration or evidence establishing ownership and other details.

sch.addedRegulation 5 allows for security to be required by the Director of Customs and Border Control.

sch.addedRegulation 6 mandates indemnification of the Director against any liability or expense incurred as a result of detention.

sch.addedRegulation 7 requires notification of changes in ownership or other details affecting the notice within fourteen days.

sch.addedRegulation 8 provides for withdrawal of the notice under certain conditions.
