Chief Fuels Inspector

There shall be a Chief Fuels Inspector and such other fuels inspectors as are necessary for the purposes of carrying out this Law and they shall be public officers.
The Chief Fuels Inspector has the responsibility for the enforcement of this Law.
The Chief Fuels Inspector shall be subject to supervision of the Board on those matters related to the issue of operating permits.
Any function of the Chief Fuels Inspector under this Law may be performed by a competent person authorised by the Chief Fuels Inspector for that purpose.
In carrying out his functions under this Law the Chief Fuels Inspector shall be guided by the Building Code Regulations, (2013 Revision), the Fire Code, 1997 and by such other legislation including international codes and standards as the ministry considers relevant.
