WHEREAS  section 1(3)  of  the  Cayman  Islands  Constitution  (Amendment)  Order  2016, S.I.  2016  No.  780, 
provides  that  the  Order  shall  come  into  force  on  such  day  as  the  Governor,  acting  in  her  discretion,  shall 
appoint by proclamation published in a Government Notice: 
 
NOW,  THEREFORE,  I, HELEN  KILPATRICK, CB,  Governor  of  the  Cayman  Islands,  by  virtue  of  the 
powers  conferred  upon  me  by  the  said  section  1(3) of  the  Cayman  Islands  Constitution  (Amendment)  Order 
2016, S.I.  2016  No.  780,  HEREBY  PROCLAIM  that  the  Cayman  Islands  Constitution  (Amendment)  Order 
2016, S.I. 2016 No. 780, shall come into force on Friday, the 12
th
 day of August, 2016.
